Side Access Filter Housings
In-line (also known as side access) filter housings can be installed on supply-air ductwork in order to protect a room or area, and they can also be used on return or exhaust ductwork to filter airborne contaminants generated by a process. As the name implies In-line Housings are sheet metal enclosures that house modular filters and are placed with duct-connections either on one end or both ends of the filter housing. These sheet-metal enclosures (housings) have one or two doors at either side of the housing, used to install the modular filter elements. These filter housings usually have gaskets and/or mechanical sealing-mechanisms to eliminate air bypass.
Pharma Terminal HEPA Filter Module
Pharma Terminal HEPA Filter Module (model RTM), is a cGMP terminal filter module that’s well suited for Pharma & Life Science cleanrooms. The model RTM is a Roomside Replaceable Terminal Module that uses a gel-seal minipleat HEPA/ULPA filter that is replaceable from the room side. Likewise, the filter can be aerosol challenged and scanned from the room side. All exposed room side components are Type 304SS with #4 brushed finish, GMP materials. Typically installed in the ceiling with a laminar downflow, the RTM can also be wall-mounted with horizontal supply air flow and adapted for exhaust or return air installation in low-wall return. There are numerous features and options to the RTM, refer to the powerpoint attached for more details.
