Hepa Filtration (Cannabis)

HEPA FILTRATION refers to any filter system employing High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filters. Industry Air Sales Ltd (IAS) has been in the specialty air filtration business for over 20-years and we’ve been supplying HEPA & ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air) filter equipment to the Canadian pharmaceutical, healthcare and cleanroom industry all that time.  Because we’ve been serving the cleanroom and containment filtration needs into these critical environments, we have the proper equipment to meet the most stringent contaminant control requirements of any cannabis growing or processing operation!

HEPA filter is your best option “to provide clean air and to remove unclean air in order to prevent contamination of the cannabis”, a requirement in section 5.1.5.1. of the Good Production Practices Guide for Cannabis.  According to every expert in the cannabis industry, ventilation and filtration are the keys to fungus and mold control in growing operations, and HEPA filtration is the only filtration that is 99%+ effective on those submicron airborne contaminants. We only use true HEPA filters in our filter equipment, factory-tested and labeled to IEST and/or ISO standards, guaranteed 99.97% efficient at 0.3µm, Acceptance level-A per IEST-RP-CC001.5. As well, we only use industry-standard 24x24x11.5” & 12x24x11.5” sizes, so you are not stuck with some overpriced, proprietary-sized filters on future replacements.

IAS can supply aluminized-steel and 304SS construction filter housings, the two materials most tolerant of the high-humidity growing environment, and the two most resistant to fungus and mold infiltration. Both materials can also be disinfected and scrubbed down, if needed.  As well, we offer two types of filter sealing systems (HEPA Clamp-Lock (HCL) or HEPA Bolt-Lock (HBL)) whichever suits your budget. Both models are guaranteed to provide 99.97% efficiency when the filters are installed! Both models are available with many options, including DP gages, insulation, transition sections and blowers. Optional DOP test ports are also available on both models in case you need to certify the HEPA filters in-situ (after installation) to meet Health Canada requirements. Our systems are modular construction, suitable for 500cfm-20,000cfm, and can be used on supply-air, return-air or exhaust-air systems, wherever HEPA level filtration is required to eliminate cross-contamination. All systems are designed to operate leak-free at up to +/-6”wc, and constructed with heavy-duty components to ensure many years of trouble-free operation.

IAS also provides HEPA Filter-Fan Units and terminal HEPA/ULPA filter modules for modular cleanroom or clean-bench requirements in your lab.
